Our programmes are providing impactful solutions to tackle gender inequalities, and our campaigning is empowering more women and girls to be active.
We look at the barriers that hinder girls in sports and education and provide opportunities to break down these barriers.
1 We work with secondary schools across London to ensure that the higher education sector is successfully engaging with female students, providing positive educational and sporting experiences. We do this by working alongside the Senior leadership, pastoral/teachers and Physical Education staff.
2 Our programme is focused on supporting young women and girls to achieve meaningful, long term outcomes. Our mentoring programme connects girls to personal growth and development, social and economic opportunity, supporting them in expanding their career interests and encourage steps to achieve their goals.
3 Everything we deliver - from the classroom and pitch to our wellbeing workshops and reward trips - has been designed for the girls, by the girls.
4 We work to ensure that we improve social and emotional skills, mental wellbeing, confidence and academic success of our young women and girls to make a successful transition into adulthood.
5 Increase girls’ participation in sports by using football as a tool to build the capacity for sports for a good ecosystem to better serve young women and girls. Our football development programme connects young women and girls to ‘personal growth’ as well as social and future economic opportunities.
6 Our programme is delivered by a culturally aware female-led team that immediately reduces the barriers for girls, by providing relatable role models who reflect the needs of the girls who use our services.
